Black Iron, based in Spain, is responsible for personal data it receives directly through this website and studio communications. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

Website visits

blackiron.games is a static website. It does not offer accounts, use advertising trackers, run analytics or set its own cookies. Our hosting and security providers may process basic technical logs such as an IP address, browser type, requested page and request time to deliver the site, maintain reliability and prevent abuse.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive the address you use and the information you include. We use it to answer your request, provide support and maintain necessary records of the conversation.

Games and online features

The website does not currently provide game accounts or cloud-save services. If a Black Iron game introduces an online feature that collects additional information, we will explain that processing before or when it begins and update this policy where appropriate.

Why we use information

We process technical information when necessary to operate and secure the site, and communications when necessary to answer your request or pursue our legitimate interest in supporting our games and studio. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time.

Service providers

We use providers for website hosting, DNS, security and email. Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive technical request information including your IP address and browser headers. These providers process information under their own terms and may operate outside the European Economic Area using applicable safeguards.

How long we keep information

We keep technical logs and correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, support and legal obligations. The exact period depends on the type of record and whether an issue remains open. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority. In Spain, that authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

To exercise a right, email hello@blackiron.games. We may ask for limited information to confirm your identity. We aim to respond without undue delay and, where the GDPR applies, normally within one month.

Children

We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information through this website. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
